in aug., im throwing a hawaiian- inspired tropical party for my daughter's 13th birthday bash. we're doing a pig roast, as well as other theme-appropriate fruits, etc. for the guests, there will be tropical party favors: leighs and straw hats. i'll put up tiki torches and i'm making my back porch area to look like a tiki bar to serve refreshments from. last year, i had her party at a local horse riding stable. for about $100, they let us have a huge group of riders, plus use the stable grounds and facilities for the party. we had an absolute blast! good luck- hope this helps!
