This is a very difficult Q to answer. Personally, my favorites are: Batman, Spiderman, Wolverine, The Green Lantern, and The Punisher.

Spider-Man because he was more like an average person than any character that had been introduced so far. He had real problems and was confused about his role as Spider-Man, but no matter what he always did his best to do the right thing.

Batman.....I like him the best because he has no super powers. He is a real human being who wanted to avenge the murder of his parents. Batman could actually happen, if someone had the motivation and the money.
