Check the spelling. It doesn't look like anything that I have ever seen. (Nothing comes up on a search either) What is the "Exact" error message that you receive?

This is NOT a virus and anyone who blames any/every computer error on viruses are just people who dont know crap about computers... Let me ask you that though - when was the last time you reinstalled your operating system (windows i assume right?)? If you answer is around a year or more than there's your problem... When you use your computer it gets messy after a while, even if your files are organized and all, everything you do on your computer has some effect and after a few months little problems like that just start to come up, and it may be caused by a program you just recently installed, a web site you visited, a file you moved/saved or anything else. Usually you wont be able to find the cause of those stupid little errors too easily, but people who think they are very smart will tell you its viruses etc, which is crap. ANyways, backup your data, reinstall your windows and i bet not only your error will be gone but your computer will also run faster and better. good luck
matt

ps. i would recommend NOT taking it to any service place (esp not best buy/circuit city) - what they usually do is tell you its a virus (they tell that to 9 out of 10 people who come there no matter what the problem may be) and then they reinstall your system just like i said above. If you need additional help, find a hs/college kid and i bet they'll do it better and wont charge you a load of money.

It's junk. Get yourself some good antispys. Google for Adaware SE, Spybot S & D, Ewido Security Suite. Download, install, update and run them in safe mode (usually get safe mode by tapping the F8 key before the welcome screen appears). Delete all they find, reboot and see if the error goes away.

Yahoo antispy and MS Beta are also good utilities. Once you have all these great little programs, update and run them no less than once a week. They will keep your system clear of junk.

Good luck.

Try typing owinomez on your address bar and hit go. See what comes up.

I too at one time had a error message (but not the same one of course) come up on my computer so I typed it on my address bar and got a lot of different results that told what that message meant and what to do about it.

Good luck.

Take your hard drive down to Circuit City or any other electronic place and tell them what's going on. They should be able to hook it up to one of their computers and figure it out. But before you take it, there should be a place where your computer will serch and tell you what the error is. If not then take it to a professional.

Are you sure it is "owinomez", and not that the o's are 0's, and that you are spelling it correctly? If it were a virus, I would imagine Google would find it, but if you search for owinomez on Google, there is nothing.

I suggest you download some anti-spyware and antivirus programs and run them.

Ad-Aware and Spybot are two good, free anti-spyware programs.

avast! is a good free antivirus program.

You can get them all at download.com

do a search for that file on your computer, look at the directory name and maybe you can figure out what program it belongs to.

Uninstall that program.
