Constitution Center. Simply awe inspiring. Excellent presentation on the founding fathers and exhibits on the document. An absolute must see for every American.
Frankilin Institute is pretty cool but it's really more geared for kids to teenagers. Lots of cool science stuff along with an IMAX theater and a really cool planetarium.
South Street. If you think "outside the box" and don't mind seeing yuppies next to punk rockers next to homosexuals next to goth next to ... then South Street is the place to be. Lots of unique shopping, bars, and bands.
For restaurants it all depends on price. For cheap and if on South Street, eat at Jims Steaks for an awesome cheese steak.
For crazy expensive try the Fountain or Lebec Fin ($250++ for 2). Both rated in the top 10 restaurants in America from time to time.
For expensive try Buddakan ($100+ for 2). Fusion asian/indian food.
Another would be Susanna Foos ($100+ for 2). Rated best chinese restaurant in the country a few years ago. Actually more like chinese with french influence. She was also named best chef in America several years ago.
For moderate food, check out China town ($40-80 for 2). Go where your nose leads you. Personal favorite is Joy Tsin Lau.
Another moderate would be Dinardos Crabs ($60-80), Charthouse ($80-120), McCormick and Schmicks ($60-100), etc.
Have fun and good eats!

Theres a few places that i could say to go to
1.Mercer museum-
2.Franklin Institue- many exhibits for people of all ages. They have a sports center where you can see how fast you pitch a babeball to saving goals in soccer. Theres a new exhibit i think where you can be put into an animation. You can build dams learn about weather and aviation, ingerneral many things to do.
3.The art museum- has nice art pieces to see of course
4.Philadelphia Zoo-THey have a new "Big Cat Falls" for their cats, prarie dogs, otters, penguins, many fine exhibits. If you get there at the right time they have a show with their elephants and they do different tricks. Peacocks roam the facility. There is a hot air balloon to see the whole zoo (attached to the ground, but fun) a cafe and a nice fountain that is huge, the have a reptile house, monkeys. All over it is nice.
Hope that helps=)
