Tell me about your eight-legged little friends. I have two. A six year old Brazilian White Knee female and a three year old Chilean Rose Hair.

We've had our rose hair tarantula, Champion, for 6 yrs. He's a great addition to our family, and yes we love it. Champion is a great conversation piece, and we love watching people's reactions when they find out its a tarantula in the tank next to them. He's great fun and easy to take care of.

I liked my spiders
I had a chilean rose, and a mexican red leg
Theyre both in tarantula heaven now
Sucks that they dont live long in captivity
i remember the first time they shed
I thought they were dead.
Till i looked closer and saw that it was just their skin.
MY chilean kicked its hair off on me once and my arm was red and swollen, that wasnt fun.
But they make great pets.
Was thinking about buying a goliath birdeater
Maybe at the next reptiile show

Pet tarantula!!!! sorry, but I'm not a spider person..... I wouldn't be able to get to sleep, knowing the fuzzy eight legged creature, was lurking somewhere in the house.... I don't mind looking at taratntula's in npet stores but as a pet, no way jose! Sorry, this was pr0bably not the kind of answer you were looking for ......

Ive never had a tarantula but I used to have snakes when I was in my early 20s. I used to take them outside to soak up the sun and let them in my house to crawl around. I really did love them and people just couldnt understand it lol. So I can understand loving a pet that most wouldnt understand :)
