We have some things that look like money but they are issued by the Japanese government and they say pesos on them. I do not know where they came from we just wanted to know what these things are. The writing is english but they say pesos and that they were issued by the Japanese government.

They were issued during WWII by the Japanese Government for use in the occupied Philippines Islands. Link below will take you to some photos of other denominations.

PS. Pesos are used in other latin american countries besides Mexico. And the Japanese use Yen.

well, peso is a mexican form of money, so i have absolutely no idea what u have.
