heh, the voice of discent... usually the amount af credits you need for a minor in spanish and just taking a double major are so close that i would say if your gonna do all the work to get the somehting like 23 credits for a minor, tkae a summer and get the 28 credit major (this is at UT, knoxville, it may be different where you are), the double major will look stronger than a minor does and makes you ultimatly more qualified and diverse, a quality many employers are looking for in our global economy

If you can speak Spanish in the US, that will help a lot with your career. I am not sure if you need to go as far as getting a minor degree.

A minor in Spanish would be an extremely good idea. Being multi-lingual is a huge benefit in any occupation. If you are in business, a minor in Asian languages (Japanese or Mandarin Chinese, especially) would also be a good idea.

The way things are going in the USA, you might want to major it spanish!
Anyways, having bilingual (especially spanish) abilities will only help you communicate with a broader range of potential customers, clients, and employees!
