Given the modern propensity of certain cultural groups to simply make up names from scratch, disregarding all rules of spelling and pronouncation, weird names are becoming increasingly more common. However, the oddest non-"monkey" names that I have seen include:
Jello (the given name of a 95-year old lady)
Espn (also, I have seen E' es' peing)

De' Jah' (no, the middle name was not "Vu")
