I've heard that soap can dry the skin too much and it's better to use a special solution to clean one's face. What's your experience?

Regular body soap isn't good for your face. There are solutions for your face, but the best thing to use are face washes. But this doesn't work for everyone, everyone skin is different and are sensitive to different things. What I use is a papya soap, it has nautral ingredients. Believe it's good. One more tip, never wash your face when you have open pores. Ex: after sweating and working out. This is when your pores are open.

me i am a girl so it might be different, but i would rather use something else. I don't like the smell soap leaves. Plus with special brand of cleaning soaps you can get everything else than just dirt.

Well it depends on what kind of soap it is cuz some could make your skin kinda/really dry.

It depends on the soap. For my skin (pretty oily), not much dries my skin out, but Irish spring soap works pretty well. If you have sensative or dry skin, you could try using dove soap.

If you try this and don't like it, try the pHisoderm products: inexpensive and work. :

Yes but with antibacterial soap.I used it, and yes maybe it can dry your skin a little but you can reduce the cleaning and clean it just in the morning. If your skin is really oily then use it.
