first, is it a total scar yet? if you suspect they might not be totally healed yet, i would go ahead and treat them with neosporin for about four days or longer until they are totally closed and healed. just rub a dab on each spot a couple of times a day, cover with little band aids if need be. neosporin definitely reduces your scars if you use it while your wound is fresh because it heals the skin better and quicker. if they are definitely healed, like last summer's scars, i would try treating it with vitamin k cream, available at any beauty supply. some people like to use vitamin e, but I think use e for the face and k for the body. if they are really bad, there are several scar remover products on the market but they are expensive, roughly a hundred bucks each last time i looked. check pharmacies like cvs or beauty supplies.

Scars are a build up of skin collegen or somethimg like that. You will feel a small hard lump under most scars. Using diffrent oinmets help keep the area moist and smooth but the real work comes from rubbing the ointments in. You break down the the tissue under the scar dissolving the raised skin and eventually the scar will vanish. So with or without ointment just gently massaging the affected area will reduce the scar,

That stuff on TV called Mederma or something like it might help.
Believe it or not, simple daily massage over the area 10-15 minutes has shown to reduce even older scars.

Vitamin e will help and I've heard good things about the new neosporin scar sheets but if they are purple I don't think they will ever go away completely. Maybe you should see a plastic surgeon. Try the vitamin e but don't expect results over night.

You need a bleaching cream. One with a sunscreen. Something for old ladies age spots would do fine. They are just discolorations, and the sun makes them worse. If you want to tan the rest of your body, just spot apply.

I was told by my dermatologist, that vaseline is the best thing to use. You take it and put good pressure while you are rubbing it on and rub for a few minutes.
