Absolutely not. I will never be wiser than either of my folks, as I age and learn, so will they. There will always be something they can teach me. I am so glad that I have their wisdom to rely on when I need guidance.. and get tired of learning things in the school of hard knocks!

Yes... Yes...
The reason is that we were fortunate to be born in the real information AGE. THAT IS SMARTER - now the wiser, I don't think so, wisdom is a gift that only comes with age.

I am smarter than my father, but not as smart as my mother. As for wisdom, they are both wiser than me!!! The only reason I say that about being "smarter" is because I know all of our IQs. My father's is 153, mother's is 179, brother's is 161, and mine is 168.

My mom's IQ is in the 140's, my fathers in the 110's, mine is 130's, so I'm much smarter than my father and a little less intelligent than my mom. All my siblings are like this as well. I doubt that most people could really be much more intelligent than both their parents. Good question.

Yes in some things. No in others. My kids are smarter than me in school smarts, but I am in the experiences of life's trails. So listen to your parents on life matters and learn from your kids new educational things. But keep in mind that you have to be sure it all fits into who you are as a person. Example do you believe in God, or do you like the color green? And what are your goals for your life? Listen and learn from all but be yourself also.
