Black birds are, of course, mostly black. But, nearly all of them have other markings, depending on their species.
Red, dark red, green, purple and buff are the most common other colors found. Take a look at the sources for a lot more info.

You have to 3 years old. Everyone knows that black birds are red, but only in the USA. In the UK black birds are orange. And in China black birds are totally colorless. Making them hard to see.

There are several different species of blackbirds. Some are mostly black, some have yellow heads, some have brown etc.
