a bibliography is a page you type up at the end of your essay that shows all of the books, magazines etc. you read about the subject, even if you didn't use them in your essay.

For example if I was writing an essay about dolphins, and I read the books "a dolphins life" and "dolphin habits" then I would put them both in my bibliography, even if I only used information from "dolphin habits"

It is a lot like a works cited page, only difference is with works cited you ONLY write things you used

I think there is a certain format you have to use when you type up a bibliography, but I'm not sure.
