I'm a wife.
I agree about the shopping for shoes, the worst.
You can at least pretend like you are listening with grandma.

Neither!

Be grateful that your grandma is still around to talk to you. You will regret that when she pass away. Remember the times she is so good to you?

Think of all the good things your wife/gf had done for you. There is nothing wrong with having to accompany her to shop for shoes.

I'd have to say talking to Grandma is worse. If you're out shopping with your wife/girlfriend, you can always scope out the other talent.

Shopping!
Go with Grandma, because you can ask her about her early life and find out lots of interesting stuff.

Well our elders need our time and patience as they're not as healthy and young, they need love and attention so I don't think it's bad. Now I am a woman and I have tons of shoes so I think it's bad maybe your g/f or wife is too spoiled.
