ummmm.... I snogged the lead singer of Johnny Kid & the Pirates in Corfu. (sixties band - yes he was old, but I was drunk.)

i was on TV once, a programme about women and alcohol. i was out in town sober and a BBC crew were wandering round interviewing people.

I met Rick Stein.

Ive met Jeremcy Clarkson 4 times.

I used to go to school with an animator at Aardman animations (wallace and gromit creators)

Bit sad really..

In my job I have the respect of Judges and many other professionals (despite the fact I only possess a GED.) However I do have the talent to fix everything from a boiler, to an electrical circuit, to even steno machines. Basically if it breaks I'm on their speed-dial.

johnny kidd never got old - he died in a car crash in 1966.

it depends what you mean by a claim to fame. at a rare books fair in 1982 a specialist in limited edition poetry tried to sell me a small orange pamphlet by a fairly well known (at the time) welsh arts reviewer.

'he published a book of poetry once. it was a limited edition. i can let you have it for £40.' the salesman said.

'i already have ten.' i answered.

'are you a collector then?'

'no, it's my book.'

i would prefer not to have my claim to fame (has nothing to do with religion...)...
but .others in my family didn't care and fared well...My great Uncle was very famous.he built and produced one of Americas first autos and also invented stellite.and my 14th inline gr grand didn't do to bad himself.H was the first Governor of Connecticut in the colonies..they both ended up in the history books guess it give something for the grand kids to talk about..
