Now that I have had the chance to see the real version of Sailormoon (original Japanese voice-actors, music, storylines), I like it even more! I have been trying to find all 200 episodes (SailorStars is considerably harder to find here in the States, probably requiring an import), and I could never go back to watching the dubbed version.
There are several sites, such as Sailormoon Uncensored that show all the editing and mangling that was done to make the English-language dub. It seems that since it is animated, people assume it is for kids. Not true! Sailormoon is directed more towards younger teens and young adults. I could keep ranting, but I'll cut it short for now.

I like it when it started out but it became stupid as it went on. And i didn't like tha fact that becasue of the way america looks at teens theat they protested agisnt the fact that Salor Moon was 14 and Tuxedo Mask was 21 that they could be together.
I mean look at Kagome and Inuyasha he's pushing 200 and she's only 15, of course if you really want to talk about age. look at Lady Kikeo she like in her early 30's minus the 100 year span and she was dating inuyasha while he was 17.
Anyway, Salor Moon is a good show for girls hile they are growing up.

Used to miss my sociology class in college just to watch Sailor Moon. I even remember the themesong. Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight, never running from a real fight, she is the one named Sailor Moon. She will never turn her back on her friends.... you get the picture. The best cartoon since Jem & the Holograms!

I love sailor moon. I have all the English translated shows and some of the Japenese subtitle shows. I even have some of the movies they made.

Before Naruto came, &, before Sailor moon ended, it was one of my favorite shows! But now I'm not really into it though...

I watched a tiny bit when I was a kid and very young and didn't know what anime was even though I loved all of it... I still remember Tuxedo Mask.

yes when i was a kid.
i like that show and watched it every weekend when i was 7 years old..but now i forgot all the characters name besides sailormoon...=p
that show is quite good though.
