Johnny Carson...he inspired me to become a broadcaster. I'd love to be able to meet him and just pick his brain. He is an inspiration to broadcasters, actors, and comedians everywhere.
Bob Hope...not only was he an excellent actor, but also a truly good person. While other actors in Hollywood stayed to further their careers during wars, Bob Hope went out and entertained the troops and spent all of his time promoting morale and getting to know the soldiers. He worked very hard and was very passionate about his work and his family.
FDR...he did a lot to further this nation in it's time of extreme need. Some of the programs he created during his terms are still around today. He genuinely cared about the welfare of the American people and did everything in his power to be the best President he could.

Abe Lincoln
because from what I have read he was a very engaging person and also self effacing, it would be interesting to talk to him about what the USA was like in the 1850-60's and also what the Civil War meant to him.
John Belushi - because he was very funny and I am sure with Lincoln and me at the table we could use a laugh or two
My Grandfather - Samuel Hingston who was an industrialist and Irish immigrant, who came from nothing to build his own business and be very success full. And someone I have all ways
admired for his courage and willingness to take responsibility
and because I miss him.

Jesus- Does that really need an explanation?
Thomas Jefferson- So I would be able to find out what he would think of America today.
Abraham Lincoln- I think he was a wonderful president. Better than most if not all of the rest anyway.

Elizabeth Bathory- so I can find out how many girls she really killed and why did she seem to think that bathing in their blood really kept her young looking (or is it possible that it really did work?)
Cleopatra- I am very curious as to her personal thoughts and feelings.
Nostradamus- such an enigmatic and mysterious man, so many questions I would put to him.
