Im 13 and i had sex with my friend a couple times the last time the condom broke i just got off my period the day before it was july 6 when it happened so how and when can i tell if im pergent or not?

If you had just stopped your period the day before, it's not likely you were ovulating, so the likelihood of getting pregnant would have been lower than if you had sex mid-cycle. But you're young and your cycles probably aren't regular yet, so anything's possible. You'll need to wait at least 8-10 days to take a test to check and then if it's negative and you haven't gotten your period, check again in another week. If you start getting sick, more tired than usual, or your breasts start hurting, it's likely you're pregnant.

On my soapbox, I'll say you're WAY too young to be having sex. You need to talk to your parents or a trusted adult about what happened so they can help you. Do you think you're old enough, mature enough, or ready in any way to have a baby?? Spend just an hour or two with a baby and you'll know the answer to that question. And that's just an hour or two, imagine being a parent and being with and being responsible for a baby 24/7. If you're not ready for the responsibilty of a baby, you're not old enough to have sex!! And if you're not going to take this advice, PLEASE, PLEASE get on birth control of some sort ASAP. Even if you think abortion is okay, it's not birth control and shouldn't be used as such.

You are just a child and you should have not been having sex in the first place. Where are your parents? You need to be in school and playing with your barbie dolls. Get off the computer and talk to your mom and tell her what you did so she can get you some help. No child should be having sex and having babies.

This is the same little girl who asked if she should lose her virginity and after so many people told her she is too young and all that and what could happen when having sex, she still had to lay on her back and possibly get pregnant or have some kind of STD. Wait 10-14 days and take a pregnancy test. Get a 2-pack so you have a backup test in case you make an error when taking the first one, or there is something wrong with the test itself.

You could also wait about 2 weeks, then go to the health department...they will probably give you a free test. Some areas have Pregnancy Centers that will do a free confidential test, as well.

First off let me start by saying I can't believe how mean you guys are. I'm 16 years old and in the same position. I know most of you on here had sex before you were an adult. She is scared adn 13 and all you can do is tell her how bad she is? Have a heart people. Now for you sweetie I know how you feel as I mentioned above I'm 16 and in the same position. You can buy a pregnancy test all by yourself hunny, so if you don't want to tell your parents until you're sure buy one, and take it. If you are you must tell your parents or you and the baby could seriously get hurt. If your not, you still need to tell your parents you are sexually active but then it can wait until you figure out how is the best way to tell them. Make sure you tell them though so you can get to a clinic and get tested for STD's and make sure you're ok. OMG, this is so horrible. Why are you having sex at 13? You should be thinking about your education and clothes, your friends and family, not having sex. You say the guys just a friend??? What the hell is going on in your mind that you feel that you must have sex so bad, at 13, that you go sleep with a guy who's just a friend. How do you expect to take care of a baby? What the hell are you doing having sex at 13?

Go to a clinic and get the plan B pill up to 72hrs after sex....if this is not possible, you'll just have to wait until your next period. Typically though, you ovualte around mid cycle or 7 days after your period. However, sperm can survive in the vagina for several days.
Do yourself a favor.....cross your legs until you are old enough and responsible enough to understand what you are doing.

Honey go talk to your mother right now! At 13 you should not be having sex! Right now it is too early to tell you need to tell your mom right now and if you are late she needs to buy you a home test or take you to the doctors and have you tested and get you on birth control asap.
