I've noticed, there are people (especially in the gay and lesbian forum) that when someone asks a question they really DO want a REAL answer to, they get responses like "that's sick" "you're gross" "you're going to hell" and things of that nature. If you don't have something INFORMATIVE to say, why waste your time and keystrokes? These questions are there because they want an ANSWER not your OPINION, unless they specifically state in their question that they DO want your opinion, by saying things like "what do you think"? Little one liner answers, smart *** answers, and opinions are NOT informative.

You yourself already know there are those types of people responding to questions here. You are the one who is in the wrong to complain about the few idiots who really don't want to give an intelligent answer. However, being the "asker" you have to accept that you will not receive all you want to hear.
Man up, my friend. No one likes to hear whining.
If you want serious answers for serious questions, then GET SERIOUS and stop posting these "important" questions on this site. You KNOW idiots respond here.
But then maybe you your struggle isn't with the answers. Perhaps you have control issues. Listen here, you are not the center of the universe. Step off you freak.

People like to pass judgement, sometimes even me. Occassionally, I click to answer a question and have to hit the back button because I realize that I am about to pass judgement on someone instead of being helpful.
However, if I think the question is rude, I have no problem with giving a retort as an answer.

because there is no rule that says you can't post your opinion or ideas about anything as long as you are not advertising, swearing or threatening. if you're interested in abolishing the freedom of speech amendment, i'm sure there are government websites where you can voice your rant, but don't expect a very informative answer.

i find that some people just do yahoo answers for something to do, and they just want the points
