They do. 50 Cent helped create and produce a video game, and Snoop Dogg is working on one too. Def Jam records made a fighting game based on their artists.
And there are plenty of black programmers in the industry.

Game development is a team effort. There are a lot of people involved in making a game that you probably aren't aware of and that includes black people too. Some even head development teams and you see their names on the ending credits and probably have no idea what color they are.
If you want to get in, you apply for a job in marketing, programming, testing, art design, music, script writing, etc. and if you're good at what you do they'll want you no matter what color you are. A college education and strong written and oral communications skills also helps, as does the ability to work under pressure, concentrate for long hours, and make deadlines.
So yeah, it's not all white people and "chinamen" running the show... So no need to be a racist yourself! ;)

If you are black and you want to resolved the lack of black people making video games why don't you make a video game. Or why don't you tell all your black friends to do it?

you gotta give us SOME credit!!! there are alot of black people out there who wants to do better so white people can stop expecting us to be some dummies. and i live in the south and i have seen alot of our people getting out there by doing something with their lives. there are even some black people who are smarter than some whites. and yes...black people DO make video games too. they even have a school where you can take classes for video games. just because YOU havn't seen any black people make video games, that doesn't mean that there AREN'T any who make them. but i gotta admit: there ARE some dumb black people out there who just sit on their behinds and smoke weed and have sex or don't wanna make their life out of anything. i'm 15 right now and i see it going on at my school. some are dummies and some are smart like me!

Chinese dont make many games at all. Its Japan first and US second. And quite a few black folks are in game companies.

Could be if they talk like you do. Im tired of blacks yelling racism, I live in the south and do not see racism, I see blacks that sit on there butts and do not work yelling that word. I have a friend that is Black and he feels the same way.

You see more whites and Asians playing video games. I think they are just generally more interested in video games. I didn't say all I said generally so don't everyone get all nasty and start calling me names.
