I think it's way too early to feel movement. The embryo just now has a beating heart and doesn't even have developed limbs.

The baby is way too little at 8 weeks to feel it. The earliest would be 14 weeks, but for most it starts around 16 weeks.

I seriously doubt it was quickening. I'm more willing to bet it was gas. Sorry if that isn't what you want to hear. At six weeks your baby is only the size of a pen tip...

Are you referring to the flutters in your tummy....the baby moving about? I have had 5 children and I felt the flutters at 8 weeks! You are no doubt in touch with your body, most arent!

definitely too early. remember that the baby is in fluid, so until he's big enough to stick those limbs out far enough, you can't feel it. Most likely you want to feel it and maybe you somehow did with your sixth sense

Congratulations and best of luck!

Sounds too early to me. Are you sure it isn't gas? I hear the feelings are similar.
