In Superman Returns, Lois seems to know Superman is the father of her son - Does Lois come to realize this, or did she always know ? If Lois Lane always knew Superman was the father of her son, why didn't she know Clark was Superman ?

No, in Supes 2, he kissed her and magically(?) made her forget all that had transpired in that movie..
She didn't come to the conclusion that Supes might be the father until Lex pointed it out that it was possible, and then, of course, that little piano incident drove the point home for her and Lex.

Lois knew Clark was superman, the movie probably continued from the old once so if they are related, it might just make sense cuz in the old superman movies, I think in the second or third one where Clark and Lois were writing a report somewhere near Niagara Fall then she realize Clark was superman and then they went to Superman's place and they slept together ( PROBABLY THAT'S WHEN THEY HAD A KID !!! ) So Lois probably knew ... since that kid was so... UNUSUAL........

You caught the subtle contradiction in the new movie haven't you? Superman totally erased her memory of ever having discovered his identity and of doing the nasty with her. Yet she knows her son has some pretty supermanish things going on.

That is something the that the comic books dealt with but not the movies! in the comics she is married to him and knows everything about him. But i guess that wouldn't make good movie!
