GNR credits LZ as their influence. So LZ set the stage for GNR. Both ROCK but LZ is the greatest in the history of rock.

Led Zeppelin.
Don't get me wrong, though, Guns 'n' Roses is truly a mighty and powerful band that still rocks even today, one of the few things from the 80's worth being proud of. Their sound and fury is AWESOME!!! But Led Zeppelin is simply the best of its genre. Led Zeppelin is perfect and never once put out a bad song. They popped off the most beautiful ballads and hard-rocking hits like it was easy and taught the world to rock. Led Zeppelin is simply the epitomy of perfection, and no band can be compared to the Led. Guns 'n' Roses is way better than a lot of other bands, though.

Truly I can't believe that you would even put LZ in a class with GnR but since you asked. Hands down without question LZ

I'm going with Guns 'N' Roses. Maybe, it's a generational thing. Having grown up with GNR instead of Zep. I'm not saying Zep sucks. After Led Zeppelin IV, they got more experimental and less listenable. That could have happen with GNR after Use Your Illusions albums. Since they broke up before that happens. We are left with the albums they left us. So, taking the whole catalog of albums into consideration. I have to give the edge to Guns, because even their throwaway albums (Lies and Speghetti Incident) are head and shoulders are better than some of the Led Zep albums.

Gee......this question doesn't take much brain power at all. Without a doubt, Led Zeppelin. One of the most influential bands of all time. Guns N' Roses was great when they came out with "Appetite For Destruction", but Axl Rose had to go ruin that. Placing those bands names in the same sentence should be a crime. LOL.

Without getting too detailed, and taking 100 pages to write, here is why I believe Led Zeppelin is better than Guns N' Roses:
1) Radio stations play music that their listeners like listening to. Led Zeppelin is on the radio 24 hours a day, Guns N' Roses are not. Case closed.
If you like Guns N' Roses more than Led Zeppelin you are in the minority, whether you like it or not. It's been approximately 20 years since Guns N' Roses were at their peak, and 26 years since Led Zeppelin had to break up. The dust has settled and the radio stations are showing the score every day.

Unbelievable.. I should report this as abuse. The two don't even compare! Led Zeppelin or... GnR?!?!? Robert Plant or AXLE!?! omfg.. you need help.
Let me put this way: in 30 to 40 years, GnR won't be getting the same radio airtime as Zeppelin does today. But then agian, they've been getting heavy airplay on the radio ever since they started putting ALBUMS out.
ugh.. I can't believe this has to be explained..
