Middle east still have the left hand is dirty tradition, much of poor areas in third world use a wash cloth, personal wash cloth no other uses or users.squtting to crap instead of sitting and high fiber diet makes it less of a problem

They say that in the medieval time, they use something like a stick with a sponge and when they used it they returned it to a cube with salt. The next person that came, only used it and put it without cleaning, in the cube.
