I would suggest you not get one. A tattoo is pretty much forever. They are very hard to remove and leave a marked area if they are.

Personally, I don't like the looks of a tattoo, on either a female or a male. I think it detracts from the natural attractiveness of the human body. (I am straight, not bi or gay.)

Even in a place that is easy to cover, the people you care for most will see it.

That said, I would agree with one of the other answers. If you do get one, no names. If your current lover is George, how do you explain a Pete? Of if it's Sue, how do you explain a Carol?

I suggest that you sit and think of something that is meaningful and symbolic to you. It could be a favorite flower or animal, part of your religion.. something you are connected to.. such as I have a cat chasing a pentacle because cats are my familiars and I am a witch... I have a butterfly tattoo and so does my mother ( they are different) we got those done because we were sitting in a park deciding what to get tattooed and a whole wave of butterflies came over and landed on us and then left , we decided then that it was a sign and chose butterflies for our tattoos.
If you are at a total loss of ideas go to the shop and look at the walls. There is usually pages upon pages of flash art all over the walls. ( pick&stick) pick one from there .. but make sure it is somehting you are going to be able to live with.

I have two. One on the front of my hip and one on the top of my foot. I LOVE mine on my foot. You can cover it up if needed be, and you can completely expose it if you feel like it. It's something that when you're 70 and decide you don't want a tatoo anymore, you can wear your granny shoes and no one will ever know. It hurts more, but it's totally worth it.

I agree with mermer192 angel wings on the back are adorable. Try not to get anything that stands for somthing you might not like later on in life because it will last forever. And get it somewhere that you can show it off when its apropriate and cover it up when its not (like at work and stuff) So the back and hip I think are good spots

u should think of 1 yourself, like something that means something to you. Just remember your gonna have it the rest of your life and you should have a reason for having it in case people ask you why you got it.
