It's hard to say- potbellied pigs haven't been kept as pets for very long (they only started coming into Canada and the U.S. about 20 years ago). Most people I've run into figure on a 15-20 year average. Some say more, some say less.

There are many orphan pigs that are in need of homes. People buy them as a novelty and then get bored of them after a year or so.

12-20 years. Age all depends on the care they receive. Give them what they need and they can live a long time. Feed them a lot and never spend time with them they will die a young age.

Or until their owners get sick of them or think they got too big and have them butchered.
