Self doubt stops most people. Others are sidetracked due to exterior circumstances, and later find it impossible to become the astronaut they once wanted to be. Some people engage in behaviors that grant instant gratification, yet they are unaware of the consequences later down the road. Others simply give up. They lose hope and decide that if they no longer try, they can no longer fail.

The influence of other people. If you speak out what you want to do with your friends and family especially if it is something that they do not understand or cannot do themselves they will poison your mind with words, if they mean to or not. Misery loves company. You must be careful who you take advice from. Secondly, the difficulty in achieving a dream may not be realized during the onset of epihany.
Desire is unending and if a dream happens another is born in an endless cycle of want. Sometimes it is important to be satiated with what is and what not can be. Bill Gates with his 90 billion dollar net worth or whatever it is, dreams now to fix american education it would seem that having so much would completely satiate a person - but no - desire(which is the basis of most dreams) is inherently infinite.

All you're to blame of is being very ignorant....both to how human beings will trick you in relationships and utilising birth control. even as a 35 365 days previous guy strategies you (a 20 365 days previous), you should anticipate he has some bags. apparently you grew up in an truly naive and innocuous international, and for that I pity you. per chance you've been a sufferer yet others outdoors your city received't see it this manner...besides as having a baby out of wedlock with someone you understand for some months. i'd propose refraining from the non secular preaching, because it received't help you in existence. in case you grew up in a religious city you likely knew what human beings's expectations may be, and blaming those you ask for "suggestion" received't help concerns. if you're being bullied, turn off the pc and walk away.

The easy answer is money.
I have just started to start a business in my area of expertise. It is my passion but there are so many blocks and delays which could be changed if I had more money.
First thing I could do is leave my present job to devote myself full time to setting up this company and get Internet access at home, a FAX, register the name, get promotional materials, etc.
At present everything is going soooo slow.
So, long story short - money.

lack of family support/encouragement.
A ton of encouragement will take you far, but an ounce of discouragement will squash you in a day ....
I try to take the negative and use it as a force to drive me on, but sometimes you just want to give up and do things the normal, everyday way.
Nah .... I think I'll go for it anyway :) Just keep it a secret.

A severe lack of money. People say money doesn't buy happiness, but it sure makes misery easier to live with.

I would say "Responsibilities" partly. My dream is to travel, travel, travel the world. But I have certain responsibilities towards my family, worklife, etc.
That's what is stopping me.

Money, or rather lack thereof.
Money is way too integrated into our lives. There are so many other things of greater import than wealth.
