can somebody tell me the physiology behind the need to be touched?

actually, it is mostly physiological need as well as psychological. Any time you touch or get touched, your skin has sensors and nerve endings that send a "signal" to your brain, stimulating specific parts, releasing endorphants which make you feel either good or bad (depending on the nature of the touch -- caress vs. abuse). This is your body's way of telling you -- your skin is part of you, i'm here and alive, and need to let you know it.

all things with a blood coarse need to be touched,it validates this person,weather it is a human,animal,tree or rock-
