Bruce Lee's death was officially attributed to cerebral edema.

Cerebral oedema is an excess accumulation of water in the intra- and/or extracellular spaces of the brain. Edema can occur as the result of many things, including head injury, allergic reaction, stroke, acute liver disease, cardiac arrest or from the lack of proper altitude acclimatization.

Bruces Lees Death was labled a misadventure. Some say he died of an allergic reaction to a medication he was given for a headache. Anyways the autopsy report states his brain had swollen quiet a bit. Ting Pei (a Taiwanese actress claimed by some to be Lee's mistress who was to have a leading role in the film) gave him a prescription analgesic known as Equagesic. At around 7:30 P.M., he laid down for a nap. After Lee didn't turn up for the dinner, Chow came to the apartment but could not wake Lee up. A doctor was summoned, who spent ten minutes attempting to revive him before sending him by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital. However, Lee was dead by the time he reached the hospital. There was no visible external injury; however, his brain had swollen considerably, from 1,400 to 1,575 grams (13%). Lee was 32 years old. The medical staff examining him concluded that the immediate cause of death was Cerebral Edema.

. A panel of medical experts eventually concluded that Bruce Lee had died from a hypersensitive reaction to a compound in the drug Equagesic. This hypersensitivity led to a swelling of the brain and resulted in Bruce Lee entering a deep coma from which he never awoke.

No, supposedly it was just before he went to a movie shoot, that he complained of headaches, so he stayed at home and took a pain killer which he was allegedly allergic to, and he died before they knew what was wrong. People don't believe this though because its like Goku dying from that heart disease. You wouldn't think that someone like him would meet such an unceromonious end.
