Large percentages of women think they are great dancers. Why? Is it because men want sex so bad that there will always be some man out in a club who tries hitting on these bad dancing women. And these men will tell them stupid things to get laid like "You dance amazing". WHAT IS THE DEAL?
Every woman thinks if you do not want to dance, then you most likely can't dance, which then puts us in a bad position when we do get on the dance floor to sarisfy the woman's insatiable need to dance.
Here is my thought on dancing. If you went to a club or a wedding or whatever and everyone was dancing to the beats, how many people would look hot dancing (or moving) if you turned the music off and they kept going. Not many. They would look stupid. The woman who still looks good dancing after the music is turned off is the woman who can dance.

Not "All" women think they are good dancers. The deal is that women don't worry about what they look like on the dance floor, like men do. A lot of women who go to clubs and/ or bars, go to have fun. Not pick up on guys. The ones that do go to pick guys up know they can get a guy no matter what. So what women look like dancing doesn't matter to either group of these women. Then last of all the small group of women who do care what they look like dancing....... Either don't go to clubs, or go and just don't dance. Think about it women don't need to dance to be noticed. True there is a double standard when it comes to dancing, but it's us men that put it on or self's. If more men would just loosen up and have fun if they choose to dance or not , there wouldn't be so much pressure on men to dance well. A majority of women don't care if you can dance, they just want to have fun with you. So as long as your having fun it doesn't matter. Sure ther might be a few jokes if you can't dance. but that's all they are jokes. Most of these joke will by the way come from men not women. My point is lighten up and have fun.

I don't think all women think they can dance, some of my female friends know they can't and refuse to get on a dancefloor, while most men on the other hand....! But it's all good, dancing is fun and you shouldn't care what you look like, it's better than sitting miserable in a corner cos you're worried about people laughing at you. Everyone should dance and just enjoy it!

I admit- I am a bad dancer. I can copy some moves from my friends, but cannot dance if my life depended on it.
But, sometimes you just want to get on the dance floor and "shake your groove thing" because you FEEL the music. It is a form of expression. I know you can take dancing courses to learn how to dance, but I will get on the dance floor with my other gals and get down 'cause we want to express ourselves not to prove to anybody (male) that we are great dancers.

You obviously miss the whole point of dancing, which is being silly and having fun. You are afraid to look 'uncool' but what is really uncool is your fear. Who cares if you, or everyone else, looks stupid dancing? I used to dance in competition and I sure don't! Anal retentiveness is not an attractive quality. I'd rather have the guy who's willing to look foolish on the dancefloor than the scaredy cat judging everyone for looking 'stupid' -- ANYDAY.

Whether they can dance or not, is just YOUR perception.
Who says what the "correct" way to dance is?
You?
Society?
Dancing is a way for someone to express how music makes them feel. It is very personal. It's a time when we are venerable. How you perceive the way someone dances, it just that... your perception. It's not your place to judge others.
Now..... go put on some music, let yourself go, enjoy yourself and stop being so critical of everyone around you.

Its not that women think they can dance good, its that its so boring to just sit down and do nothing while everyone else has a good time. Haven't you ever gone out with that one friend that just doesn't want to participate or do anything? Its not fun for them and it puts a damper on your night. So, I can't dance to save my life, but I'm not going to spend money and go out just to sit there and do nothing. I would rather look like a moron and go home having enjoyed myself.

Why are u so angry!!!!!!!!!???????They think so b'coz they can.U men always in chilhood have a lot of options in sports tomake up but most of parents send their children[girls]to dance.So that may be a reason.But I'm not saying boys can't dance.

ahaan...n y do all men think they r Mr fix-it...even if they wud know nothin abt the mess they wud stilll be actin like superheroes to the rescus n may evn end up makin it worse...y r men genetically incapable of asking for directions or admitting they cant fix this or that.
n y do all men think they r great in bed....evn if they r LOUSY at it...they wud still boast about thier thing n jis think of themselves as sex gods...why is it so?
