No, even though I'm a die hard Habs fan and would love for them to win another cup, they won't.

Gainey has been saying he needs a good centre for Kovalev, he has done nothing to sign a good centre and there were many available. Signing Mike Ribeiro doesn't do nothing for us, he's a pretty good play maker but is extremely inconsistent.

I think Roenick could've been an excellent centre for the Habs but nothing was done to sign him. He even said he wanted to come and play in Canada for cheap.

One thing I'm concerned of is Carbonneau behind the bench, will we be going back to a defensive style again because we definitely don't have much fire power.

Habs, it's the Montréal Canadiens right?

Yes, the Canadiens will win the Stanley Cup in the following season, unless they come across a battle against the Vancouver Canucks in the Finals!

(History will repeate itself... First the Calgary Flames, then the Edmonton Oilers, next the Canadiens and lastly the Canucks.

I think they have a legitimate shat at it this year. Although Mr Gainey has not done enough this off season, I think with Carbo and ""Capt Kirk" behind the bench, a full year for Huet to showcase his talents, a rejuvinated forward lines, and the Healthy return of saku, it is definetly a possability,

GO HABS GO

Well, it's too early to say, but the way Gainey is managing the free agent signing, it's gonna be difficult to do so. The team didn't improve during summer with Aebisher available for trade and Bob did nothing except watching Boston improve with good players like Chara and Savard.
