Gee, that's a hard one to choose. I guess Kentucky, where I live, is as pretty as any place I've ever been to. Texas and Tennessee would tie for second. Georgia is nice, as is southern Indiana and western Arkansas. Mississippi and Alabama are very lovely and beautiful in their own rights (especially Mississippi,) even though it's not the rolling bluegrass I'm used to. Western New Jersey, Virginia's Shenendoahs, and West Virginia are very natural and untamed.
I'd love to visit the Rocky Mountain states, the Carolinas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Washington and Oregon, Maine, Alaska, Canada, could I go on? I'm sure every state and province has their own beauty and charm.

This is a tough question to answer because every place is something unique to offer.
Hawaii, for the beautiful ocean sunrises and sunsets, not to mention food growing wild on the trees and flowers that bloom during the different times of the year.
California, for it's mountains, high deserts, sand dunes, sequoia forest scatter through the mountain range, the oceans and various coast lines. Big city's and small towns, something for everyone there.
Oregon and Washington, much like Northern California, only smaller.
Montana, living now in the rocky mountains, wild life in town, some bears even come into town to visit the locals. Buffalo, Elk, Deer, just to mention a few. My granddaughter lives in Helena and always points out to me the deer eating out of someones front lawn when we are driving threw town. Great to have extra eyes in the car while I am driving.
Florida, wow, 2 coast lines, wonderful people, reminded me of the coastal California and Hawaii.
NYC and New Jersey...a real treat for me...
So many wonderful memories...
Thank you so much for the question.

The most beautiful states I've ever visited are Arizona and West Virginia. The Deserts and the Grand Canyon in Arizona are spectacular, and The mountains in West Virginia are beautiful in the fall.
I've always wanted to visit Wisconsin and California and Alaska. I've always wanted to chow down on some authentic Wisconsin cheese!

There is so much beauty everywhere on this continent - we are blessed.
The Canadian Rockies in Alberta are magnificent and awesome - a must see - again and again.
Love the American West - the Pacific's rugged coastline, Utah's amazing colored and sculptured landscape, our US Rockies, Sedona at sunset, the Grand Canyon, Alaska's pristine beauty, the soothing Appalachians, the New England shore, remote Maine - so much to see and appreciate.
Would love to see Wyoming and Hawaii - only a few states I haven't seen.

colorado is by far the best state I've ever been to, but if I could go to any state it would be alaska. I live in Michigan and northeast and northwest michigan are beautiful, there are rolling hills covered thickly in forests and beachlines on the great lakes with sanddunes with cool shallow waters. The areaa around Traverse City and Petosky and especially pretty. By the way canada sucks

I've been to every state at least 3 times and to 2,430 of the 3,115 counties in the US (a silly hobby of mine).
When I'd gotten to all 50, Alaska was the one I was going back to the most often. So when my wife and I were able, when we finished our training, we moved up. Mountains and forests and rivers that in any other state would be declared a National Park are just regular scenery up here.
Speaking of National Parks, they were all set aside for good reason. A good place to start is a road trip from one to another.

I grew up in Washington State and truly believe it is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. Washington has the best of all worlds: ocean&beach, lakes, mountains, forest, farmland, cities...to me, it's perfect. I've been through/to the rest of the west coast and much of the south, and although White Sands, NM is like Heaven on Earth, you asked for a state or provice, so I still have to stick with my 'homeland' - Washington :)
