Morpheus. I use it but i dont know about th leagel part. I would strongly recomend having an antivirus program. sometimes that third party software gets in. by the way its free. if you want something with a legal label download from wal-mart. this costs money but it is only .99$ per album. enjoy!

Apple iTunes is pretty cheap and legal. There's also a new website called allofmp3.com which charges about 5 cents a song.

download the software called limewire from www.limewire.com
be sure you used those mp3 in personal purposes.
