Not bad, you could build one of equal force for about $1400 yourself. That being said, this is probably the worst time to be considering buying (or building) a new computer. The reason is that X1900XT graphics card will have to be replaced come September because DirectX 10 hardware will be coming out by then. Also, Windows Vista will be coming out early next year. That being said, it will probably be cheaper to buy a computer that comes with Vista installed rather than buying a computer now and getting Vista later. This is only if you want support for DirectX 10 (you will need both a DirectX 10 capable card and Windows Vista). DirectX 10 will not be made available to Windows XP. Expect Windows XP software to be phased out as soon as Vista releases. Of course I expect software to be Vista/XP compatible for some time.

It you a die hard gamer, have a friend build you a computer or contact www.duelwave.com it's cheaper in the long run. Plus I agree with conradj213 you might want to wait if that is what your into. Vista is evil but everyone going to use it anyways ecspally if your a gamer. If your not a die hard gamer then still have a unit bulit for you right now and put ubuntu linux (www.ubuntu.com on your box.)

Sounds good to me. It will last you for several years. If you don't mind the price tag, go for it! Dell has some of the best deals, so you probably won't find a better price for a similar system.

You could build one for 800 with that configuration if you know anything about computers. For me, that would be overpriced... way overpriced. Contact me and I'll show you what I mean.
