I know that vomiting and nausea are caused by the pregnancy hormones...what kind of hormones are they? Is it "HCG" specifically?

When I was pregnant I threw up the whole time non-stop and I thought I was going to die. I lost 15 pounds before I gained any weight. My doctor told me that the more you throw up that it means your placenta is thick and heathy. He also told me not to drink water in the mornings because it makes the sickness worse due to the empty calories (whatever that means). I had to get two shots every two days in each hip wich was vitamin B6 & B12, so if you go to the Viatmin shoppe and get a complex of b vitamins you'll feel much better!
