OK it's a little involved but it's easy. Go to the menards. ask for the project center and go to the touch screen. Use it to pick out what you want for your garage and it will spit out a list of materials along with a price. You take this number and double it to account for labor. This should be your lowest ballpark figure. The best way is to schedule three estimates. They're usually free and then you can choose the best.

Prices vary from area to area... a good ball park figure would be $55 to $65 per square foot.. that's for a turn key job..best advice... check the yellow pages in your local phone book....get a few estimates... and don't just go with the cheapest... check their work...and never, never pay anyone up front...

If you do it yourself it will run you $12-18,000.00. have a contractor do, then almost double it..
