Intelligence agencies now collect enough data to give them the leads to protect their citizens but do they have too much data to be able to collate the relevant information and analyse it

Yes they can have info on anyone they want but they have too much info to be able to sift it and find out the real threats in time to be effective

It would be much better if the government would stop running it like it was just another bureaucracy, and start running it like an intelligence agency.
