They are jerks, have no conscience, and deserve to be executed.

Get a good lawyer as fast as you can! If you can't afford one - check out servives provided by your state's legal aid services. All states have them - especially if you live near a larger city or university. My marriage ended after 20 years and I was absolutely amazed at the change in my ex - seemingly overnight. He went from being the most caring father and husband to a money grubbing jerk that thought of no one but himself and the new girlfriend. The woman he cheated with pressured him to try for every bit of property, money etc. he could get his hands on. If I had not put out the money for a good lawyer - my daughter and I would have lost everything. If it makes you feel better - that relationship didn't last because he eventaully woke up and felt so bad about the things he had said and done. It is now 11 years later and he recently asked to borrow some money from me! Get legal help ASAP!

What changes them is listening to their new partner, greed, selfishness and avarice. Hon, if you havent already done it- change all the locks on your doors and get to see a lawyer, fast. If youre in the UK, Citizens Advice are wonderful- and free, or, you can get 30 minutes free on the Legal Aid scheme. DO IT or these bastards will have you living in a shelter.....I mean a bus shelter!! You are entitled to half of everything, and half the value of the marital home, so whatever you do, dont move out....dont even go and stay with a friend. These people are scum, and you must stand up for yourself, and start now!! Very good luck to you.

He might be the same man he's always been, but being with his new wife he might feel like he needs to do this or she's making him.Does she seem like the type that would be controlling? If so,it's probably her doing not his.I would get an appointment set up with a lawyer to find out what can and can't be done.In my opinion,if your living in the home now,he's moved out and is living outside of the said home,I think you should be able to stay.I don't know the laws where your at,but to me if he left he shouldn't be able to just walk back in and kick you out.
Good Luck Dear!

The sad truth is that some people care nothing about anyone other than themselves. You have rights here. See a lawyer ASAP! Remember that just because your ex and his witch wife are being jerks, doesn't reflect on your worth, so try and hold your head up, and don't take the low road. Things will get better for you sweetie. I'm praying for you. :)

Hi I'm sorry to hear of your plight,if the accomadation is owned by your husband, then you do have legal rights, can the property be made into two seperate flats?
If your residence is owned by your local council then your name is also on the rent book, ask them about rehousing either one of you.
Write down a list of all your grievences and visit your local citizens advice bureaux, talk to them about emergency accomodation etc and your basic rights. Good luck and my thoughts are with you.

Hopefully you are standing up for yourself. Probably the new wife. They just want to hurt you as much as possible. Get a lawyer and don't let them take your home or anything you deserve. I will pray for you..

Firstly get yourself a good lawyer I only spent 13 years with mine and you think you know them inside out and then they do something so awful!!!!!!
Remember when they do these horrble things the only person they betray is themselves so don't beat yourself up about it.
Good Luck.

Umm, err, have you seen a solicitor honey????...The answer to your question is he can't. If you go to the best solicitor in your town, get legal aid to fight it if you have no money, and nail this bastards foot to the floor!
You have given 47 years of your life to this idiot, now go get what your worth, and stop his floozie from taking what's yours, by right!
