N.B. - it is for Firefox, and that i've got not any thought if it is going to artwork with the different browser. To sparkling all of the hunt histories, pass to 'kit' interior the toolbar on the precise left of the demonstrate. quite a few recommendations might desire to look, between them 'sparkling inner maximum records'. Clicking that option will erase the hunt history.

i think this should work (especially if you have internet explorer browser, if not try it it may be the same):
click tools
click internet options
delet cookies, delete files, and clear history
hope it worked!(it works for me)
***********************EDIT****************
unless you are talking about the yahoo toolbar search box. then click the pencil to the left of it and 3rd thing down-clear search history
or if you are talking about when you type into google and previous things come down do this:
-go to tools
-click internet options
-click on the content table
-press autocomplete
-uncheck the boxes
-click clear form
-click clear passwords
