How can I find out the identity of a mail addressee.. I remember it had to do with dos and who's (...). but I'm not sure..
the reason is that someone keeps sending me an e mail and I think he's one of my friends playing a joke on me, I just want to make sure before beating the (...) out of him :P

well..if it's your frined..then when yu are seeing his, email click on "full headers"
read the part that says X-Originating IP: or the last IP adress in the servers list, (the senders IP..) then go to WHOIS..
and trace their IP, to a state or a city..
----------or-----------
register afree account at :
http://readnotify.com
then write him/her an e-mail to their adres.. but put this there..
yourfrinedsname@yourfriendse-mail.com.readnotify.com
now..when they read the letter they won't find the little script that checks their IP, you just go to http://readnotify.com log in, and check their city, and if it's the same as yours it's probably you frined..

Depends wether they are sending the mail normaly or not. There are sites out there that emails can be routed through that strip off the header and footer and then send it on. This removes all record of the sender.

I easily have 3 separate e mail money owed, and easily one with Yahoo. in the event that they want to hack my Yahoo e mail I say choose for it by way of fact it collects all of the unsolicited mail for me. lol I easily have over 19,000 in there for them to pass with the aid of! possibly they are able to even enter me in all those Sweepstakes spams i'm getting which will keep me particularly some time. I purely might desire to win! lol
