Superficial cleaning Will not help, you must try breathing exercises to help more oxygen in your blood, The oxygenated blood will help clean your scars and prevent acnes. Along with the breathing exercises which we call pranayam in India ( Kapal Bhati exercise is the best). Pranayam is the combination of two words one is pran which means life or oxygen. I will not suggest to take any medicine even Swami Ramdev whose sites i have given below tells to first do exercises, in case you are so lazy that you cannot do exercises then only he suggests medicines. Visit the sites given below thoroughly.

There are 1001 tips for acnes and they all work !!! Basic ones are: a regular bowel movement, lots of fruits and veggies, wash your face at least 5 times daily with medicated soap, use alcohol to wipe your face before sleep. In some severe cases a mild anti-biotic is given over long periods. Most important thing to remember is that it's a temporary thing and will fade with age. Just make sure it doesn't leave permanent grooves on your face.

Drink at least 2 litres of water every day. Cut down on your intake of greasy foods like french fries, burgers etc and wash using a deep cleansing fluid every night. This should help to clear the acne but don't give the practice up or it will return as bad as before! Good luck!!!

I use to have acne and now my skin is so clear that I get compliments on my complexion all the time.
I started out with a series of antibiotics from my doctor and they temporarily took care of the problem but it never got rid of it. She referred me to a dermatologist who than put me on acutane. It's not for everyone and there can be serious side effects. It worked wonders for me though and I am more than pleased with the results. I also use the dermatologist recommend Cetaphil products on my face which you can buy anywhere such as Wal Mart.

Reduce your salt intake... salt in your diet can aggravate acne. Also drink plenty of water to help cleanse your skin from the inside out. Keep the affected areas clean using a special cleanser available from your pharmacist. I've also found getting a little sunlight on my back and keeping my hair off my back helps to reduce the problem there.

DONT WASH YOUR FACE 5 TIMES A DAY! This was only aggrevate your skin and make it pump out even more oil! Instead, wash your face with a medicated wash (try going to your dermatologist and getting Brevoxyl 4) 2x a day. Drink 8 glasses of water a day, dont touch your face, keep your hair clean, and dont stress out! :)

Sun light and swimming helps, but not so much that it gives you a sun burn. Keep your hair shorter rather than longer and don't touch your face.
