the clothes are supposed to look like they are hanging on a hanger. therefore, the skinny model. maybe they need to think "bigger hanger":)

yes they do. everyone makes a big deal about that but i can't say I disagree... it's their clothing line so they have a vision for it and who they want wearing it. obviously some clothes would look horrible on fat people and the designers def don't want their clothes to be known to look bad.
I agree with them to an extent
If ppl have a prb with that then u don't have to patronize the designer

I don't think that that is necessarily true.
I think that the designers may design their clothes for a certain type of woman and that society perpetuates this image. But they are plenty of designers out there willing to cater to the large (literally and figuratively) proportion of society that don't weigh 110 pounds and less.

i believe they do because so many people want to be thin. designers make the sizes limited so more thin people will buy them and people who are not thin but like the clothes will lose weight to fit in them. check out some other designers because there are some out there for us phat people.

Yeah they dont want fat people to try and emulate the skinny so that the fat people are left to look even more noticeable

to stop the look being spoiled... lets be honest a tight top looks completly different on a size 8 and a size 20 ...

No, they don't make clothes for fat people because it's more fabric and they are'nt willing to spend more money for fat people.

I think they don't go up in sizes because with bigger people clothes fit different
