Depends on why you want it so bad. If its because you think it will better the relationship then ya are nuts to think that. If its because you both have a great relationship and think you ahve the world to offer a child then your not.

No, you're not nuts. Reproduction is one of the strongest drives in nature. However, are you ready for total commitment to the family and child for the next 20 years (at least), which means giving up most of your freedom? Do you have everything you want or need? Because, for most people, the child will need so much that you will have to sacrifice to provide for it. Having a child with your mate is a wonderful thing, but young folks really have to think about ALL the consequences and be ready to accept the 24/7 responsibility.

I don't know why you want to get your gf pregnant but I assume it would be because you have a void you want to fill in your life. You are 27 and you probably feel that you are old enough and ready to take on the responsibility associated with having a baby. Your gf is pretty young but if she loves you and she is ready then go for it. There is nothing wrong with a man wanting to have a baby even though usually it is the woman who wants one. You are not nuts and there is nothing wrong with having a baby. Good luck!

It's all up to the both of you guys. If you an her both want it and feel that your financially ready to provide for this baby, Then go ahead. But there is nothing worst then one person wanting it and the other don't. Sometimes having a baby is the next step of commitment in a relationship. It already seems that you love her so go for it and love the baby more then ever.

No. You are not nuts for wanting to have a baby w/ your girlfriend. But, do get married first as its not only the right thing to do for the child to be, but it is a symbol of your love and commitment to each other.

Just remember that children are a lifetime committment and are you committed to her as well. Don't bring any child into the world that will not have both parents involved in their lives...Sit down and talk about the future with her...That always helps when you know that you and her both are on the same page. Marriage is important before you have a baby although it isn't a necessity. It's natural to want to have a baby... : ) Does she feel the same way? I hope so!

Are trying to get her pregnant because you want to trap her into being with you? Or is it mutual does she want to be pregnant by you? If the feeling is mutual then get married and try and get pregnant right away.

If you're really serious then I suggest getting married - sounds old-fashioned maybe - but give that kid a stable family first!
