Too many to count really... There is a VERY SMALL list of endangered species at http://www.aza.org/ConScience/ConScienceSSPList/ this is a list of species being helped with a breeding/conservation program through the American Zoo and Aquarium Association. Things you can do:
-Donate money to the zoos that participate in these programs, or volunteer your time.
-Adopt-an-Animal, generally a one time donation toward an animal of your choice, you can do this at zoos or online, for an all-around good website check out http://www.defenders.org/ there's a good adoption program on there (Those adoptions come with stuffed animals and make excellent and unique christmas presents)
-Find out what species are endangered in your own area and see what you can do to help with the local conservation effort
-Don't buy endangered animal products or products from rainforests. Loss of habitat and poaching are the leading causes of population decline.
-Keep yourself educated! The more you learn about endangered species the more you will know how to help. Try to find ways to educate others too, you'll be surprised to learn how little most people know about endangered animals.
-Caring is the first and most important step:)
