Yes, but the more they print the less valuable it becomes.

Sure, but they don't want to cause inflation. When they start printing too much money, the money supply gets looser. Money is easier to come by and the value of the dollar drops. Thus, the government wants to print money, but won't because it will cause inflation because there is too much money in circulation than is good for the economy.

They could, but then that would make each dollar worth so much less than before. Suppose there was so much money in circulation that it would cost $1000 for a quart of milk, for example. So the government does not just print as much as they want.

they can have as much as they want, why should they spend time with printing...
to answer Ur question, for sure they can pull some strings and print a lot of money, but it would be great nonsense. This Money would loose it's worth... as everything, of what is too much or too many there.
See wall street, it might make u understand... why too much is not good.

No, because they end up with wheelbarrows of it to buy things like they did in Germany's Weimar Republic between the two world wars. Printing extra money leads to inflation

It seems so.The US has been bankrupt for at least 20 years but they just keep spending and spending and the rest of the world doesn't seem to want to mention anything because we all value our money against the US dollar and if we admit the US is broke then we all go into a recession.

yes but it would be pointless because the only reason its worth anything is b/c there is a limit to it. after all its only colored cotton
