No way. Cheating isn't hereditary, so don't worry.

If anything - it would probably make him LESS likely. My ex cheated on me and destroyed a family and marriage of 20 years. My daughter was 16 years old at the time and a real "daddy's girl". That changed over night due to his actions. She eventually ( after 3 or 4 years) forgave him for the affair - but has stronger than ever convictions that cheating is wrong. She has seen first hand what it does to everyone involved. ( She is now 27 and very happily married to a man who feels the same way since his dad also cheated on his mom.)

You can't judge the son by the actions of his father. Your b/f is an individual and not genetically certain to do what his father has done. You can only judge anyone by their actions because it's not fair on them to pre-judge them by the actions of a relative.

Sometimes even thought they hate what they do they find them self doing the samething, but sometimes because the grew up seeing it and seen how bad their mom was hurt, and it hurt them to see their mom hurt, they learn to respect females and wouldn't do any woman that way.

well maybe, it depends on how long you stay with him. If you're usually with him for a whole day it is almost impossible.

like father like son, unless he hates his dad enough to kill him with a knife, then he'll do everything in his power to not be like him.

Show him and tell him that you trust him. Have confidence that he won't. That will encourage him more not to.
