What is being two faced? I know it is talking behind somebody’s back about them but what else? What is two faced in every sense you can describe, especially with friends?

Being "two faced" is not just "talking behind someone's back". It is a form of dishonesty and being untrue to yourself. eg; if you pretend to like someone and compromise yourself by being around them (for whatever reason), agreeing or going along with someone's talk or behaviors when inside you disagree, pretending to like something you really don't or pretending to be someone you really aren't (like just to please whoever you're around). Being "two faced" is done by people who are insecure, lack self esteem, and are incapable of being honest with themselves. I try to live by these slogans today; 1. "if I'm alright with me I have no need to make you wrong", 2. "it's none of my business what other people think", 3. "to thine own self be true". I strive to be the best I can be each day, somedays better than others, but as long as that is what I stay focused on in spite of anyone else, all the rest is just "small stuff". Hope this helps. Take care.

It is the presentation of two (or more) different personal images of yourself, each contradictory to the other. To some you may appear to be non-prejudiced and supporting of equal rights among the races, then when you're with another friend you lambast the minority race as lazy, unintelligent, and the principal cause of crime in America because of their racial attributes.
