I will buy it for pay-as-you-go, not contract so the price has to be decent, which ones are good?
ive herd people say that they dont like that samsung D600s...im thinking of getting a sony ericsson W800...but suggest a few more to me please and the good points about them
i think its obvious that i dont know much about phones :)

I think Sony Ericssons are really good and 02 are a good network because of all the bonuses, but b4 u get ne phone check what the network coverage is like in your area!

Hi, Well, Korean companies like Samsung an LG are doing very good in the market. I Had a Samsung D600 but I lost that phone after a month...ya I know that really sad. Let me tell you that its an amazing fone and has got almost all the features that a person like you and me can think of!!. The black color of the fone looks stunning and its really impressive when you flaunt it. And the best feature which I like about that phone is that after recording the videos you can connect it to your TV and then see it on a big screen, also it has got a 2 mega pixels camera. Also not to forget its sound out put is amazing too. If you are buying a W800 for music than D600 is very competitive!!
I personally do not like that W800....first because its so common now and then its Orange color. Lets be different!!...what do you say??
Now..the most Imp thing is that what do you do...?? I mean to say are you in college or are you working or may be school.
All I mean to say is that, the phone should go with the surroundings also. I would never get a W800 in office but a Samsung D600 everywhere!!..I'll be buying the phone again in a couple of months time.

I have got 2 Motorola clam shell phones both are pretty old I am on virgin paygo only cos you can also get little gifts from time 2 time the latest is that you get 1000 free texts per month 2 other virgin users until the end of Sept 06 and if you have a problem with the phones as I had the battery was dead so phoned them up although it past the warranty date they went through a troubleshooting list and agreed it was the battery and although it was about 2 months out of warranty 4 days later I received a new battery totally free of charge ! I cant say anything against the product support dept at Virgin

he sony ericsson w810i.. look it up
im gettin the phone tomorrowand iv done research
it has a 2mp camera
zooms up to 4 times (which is plenty)
looks nicer than the w800i
mp3 phone
512MB --- Holds up tp 20 full albums (now on different ites it says different things, on one site it said 125 songs, another said 250. someone left an answer on yahoo answers, sayin they have just over 200 songs on theres).. you dont need more space than that!!
good music and video dj where you create mini movies and songs
video camcording with effects such as negative, black and white etc
you can transfer files from phone to a pc with a usb cable
available in black and white
much more!!!!!!!
the phone is £180 on pay as you go. its great
if your looking for a new phone, you cant go wrong with this one!!! will last a lifetime!

I'd recommend the Sony Ericsson K800i
It has a 3.2 megapixel camera but not sure if available on PAYG just yet.

I like the Nokia 6230i as it has lots of cool fetures and its Not a flip phone, Im not keen on flip phones, Samsung usually make good stuff.

i don't like samsung some people say it's LCD can easily get scratched...w800 is a nice phone with 2 MP camera -expandable memory- music features.....to me i like nokia much....get Nseries phone they RoCkS like N91-N92-N80
if u don't like nokia so much i think Motorola Razr V3x will be great it has 2 MP camera - expandable memory- and u can make video calls using the 2nd camera above it's wide screen

u couldnt be happier with a se w800i or even better, a w810i - i hav this phone and its jus too good. quality mp3 and camera and has everything u cud ask for. good value for money too. ive had a nokia n91 (£500) and i prefer the w810i to that. nokias suck.

u could go to a cingular store and ask if they would let u make a cingular lg c1500 a pay as u go phone cuz its pretty cool!!!
