favorite current player: jt snow, last of the boston red sox, but mostly from when he was a sf giant.
favorite of all time: willie mays. i'm too young to have watched him play in person, but i watch all the films of him and see how he carries himself with so much class, and it's not hard to see why he has claim to being the best baseball player ever.

My fav all time is Tyrus Raymond Cobb - The Georgia Peach - Played the game harder than any player ever. My favorite current player is Albert Pujols from the hometown Cardinals. If you haven't seen "Cobb" the movie you should watch it. Great movie
