go to your states film industry website and see if they are looking for production assistants. Its a nice way to get a foot into the industry. You will do alot of menial labor and errands, but its alot of fun, good pay, and you will meet some truly fantatic people in the bargain. I got to meet Angus Scrimm, Bruce Campbell, and others during my stint in the industry!

if you live in LA, movie studios are always looking for help that doesn't require a degree. if you can get in on the ground floor and somebody higher up likes you (and you're willing to have sex with them), you'll be set for life.
